Tennis Tots is a specialist coaching service which uses fun, age appropriate activities designed to get 3 -6 year olds active. Through the sessions children will learn tennis specific skills, balance, co - ordination, social skills and develop their confidence.

As a qualified primary school teacher and having worked in EYFS for 4 years the sessions always link to the EYFS Curriculum. The sessions will always aim to develop a child’s skill in listening skills, following instructions and team work.

We link our sessions to the Four guiding principles.

1. Unique child - Our sessions cater for all levels and abilities. All the sessions can be adapted. Through these sessions, children will develop their confidence and self esteem.

2. Positive relationships - As a qualified teacher , I know the importance of building good relationships and having a caring environment for the children so they are happy and keen to learn. Our sessions are a positive environment with praise used throughout.

3. Enabling environments - The children will learn in a safe and fun environment. We can also link our sessions to your current topics that you are teaching in class such as ‘ under the sea’ or ‘ pirates’.

4. Learning and development - Each session will allow the children to learn basic ball skills such as throwing, catching and tracking a ball. We also ensure our warm up’s link to ABC’S - agility, balance and co - ordination.
